Hey everyone. Wednesday was an eventful day for the whole team. As you can see from the photos below the build is really coming along and these photos were from the morning. A lot more was done in the afternoon. Most if not all of the roof trusses are on. I was not there at the very end of the day to see exactly at what point they were at but at 2 there were already 4 trusses up. The rest of the team went to Severet which is a small pueblo(village) in el campo(countryside) actually a bit elevated although not exactly in the mountains. The drive out was beautiful to see the open country however we received muchas agua(lots of water(rain)) We were once again blessed by the story of Dorcas who continues to fight against many hardships to get her Sunday School running again. She had to take a break because her health wasn't good for a while. This church really needs our prayers and support. The kids there are eager and hungry for God-they sat and listened very well to the program and at the end there were 7 kids who said they wanted to give their hearts to Jesus. This is the first photo- the little group of kids standing up. Dorcas will struggle to support and disciple these kids but she needs help. We will be praying about what we can do to help these sisters who don't give up even when they feel like they have nothing left. The little guy is Frankie and I just couldn't resist posting a few photos of him because he was so hilarious and adorable. We had quite an adventure leaving Severet as it had poured the whole time we were there. The water was flowing quite swiftly across certain places in the road and we were all praying! Of course our mighty God came through again and our young driver Luis Miguel got us home! God is good all the time!
